Camarones a la Diabla (Mexican Deviled Shrimp or Spicy Shrimp)
(Serves 4)
Ingredients:
1 16 oz jar Salsa God - Hot Fire Roasted Red
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp chopped cilantro (coriander)
2 lb large raw shrimp, peeled, deveined, and tail-on
4 tbsp olive oil
Kosher salt to taste
Instructions:
Place raw shrimp on a cutting board. Season generously with salt.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over moderate heat. Once oil begins to sizzle, add the shrimp and garlic. Stir constantly and cook for 2 minutes. Do not overcook the shrimp or it will be rubbery.
Pour the Hot Fire Roasted Red salsa into a medium sauce pan and bring to a boil. Add the cooked shrimp, simmer partially covered at low heat. Stir and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Top with cilantro (coriander). Serve hot. It can be paired with white rice. Enjoy!
